Top marks across the board thanks to P.E.P.® and fine foam technology

A number of top innovations ensure that both classics and trend specialities can be created with breathtaking quality: The AromaG3 grinder is now twice as fast, yet preserves all the delicious aroma of the coffee beans. The Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.®) ensures the optimum extraction time for a short speciality and delivers a taste explosion for the ristretto and espresso. Trend specialities finished with milk and milk foam are brought to perfection thanks to fine foam technology. Gourmets agree and award the J6 top marks for its aroma.

Self-explanatory operation - even by app on request

A logical structure and easy-to-understand graphics make the modern operating concept absolutely self-explanatory. The TFT display and the Rotary Selection take users straight to what they want. If they so wish, they can also control the J6 via smartphone using the JURA app.* Thanks to RFID technology, the Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.®) detects the water filter automatically. A customised inlay in the storage compartment allows an interchangeable milk spout and a milk pipe to be stowed away to save space. Both are within easy reach at all times. A separate hot-water spout, the container for milk system cleaning and the integrated maintenance programmes ensure TÜV- certified hygiene at the touch of a button.

Best machine I have ever owned

I’ve owned this machine since 2010 and it is still making my coffees and espressos like on the first day. I love it and so does everyone who comes to visit us. It is reliable, the coffee is hot, the milk frothing works well (if you clean it properly) and it’s idiot proof to use and keep clean. I have only ever had 1 broken off coffee tap. Ordered replacement which was delivered within 2 working days. Excellent!

A mixed bag!

1st off, great service from Cafe Select, and very helpful when the product was delivered to make sure I was able to instantly get the best of the product - exceeded expectations.

Product wise though whilst the machine is easy to use, easy to clean, and is excellent on milk/froth/foam options the main purpose of the machine is lacking... e.g. it's ability to make a high quality espresso as the basis for all coffee. Whilst it does have a good crema, the flavour and quality of the expresso isn't good and it does that whilst wasting a lot of the coffee bean (as a control experiment I am using an identical bean to the one I used in my last machine). The water temperature is also slightly too low.

The net of it all is that the machine is great if it's your first coffee machine and your looking for ease (and don't care about the cost of wasted beans), but if you were also looking for very high quality coffee then I am afraid you'll regret this purchase.

Thank you for your kind words, we try to offer great customer service levels, and its nice to hear we that we provided a good buying experience.
Regarding the Jura J6 itself, I have spoken with one of our technicians, and we feel that there may be something that needs adjusting in your settings, or possibly even a fault with the unit - since, the Jura units are sold across Europe and held in high regard by those who know or use them - even coffee snobs who feel that the best espresso can only be hand made using traditional methods will at least agree, that the Jura units are very capable of consistently good espresso, even if a top trained barista can achieve a 'superb' espresso, he will have his off days too.
We have sent you some beans to try, and we would like to call or email if it is convenient to check your machine settings with you.
